The E-Pen can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.

Initially, your medical aesthetician will apply topical lidocaine to numb the skin and ensure a comfortable and pain-free treatment. Then, a thin layer of topical gel is applied and the pen is gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.

The procedure takes 45-60 minutes depending on the size of the area treated.

Immediately after the treatment you will notice a bright redness to the skin. The total healing time depends on the E-Pen™ setting used and the number of overlapping passes your medical aesthetician performs. On average, patients are red up to 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.

Clients will notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after a treatment as collagen production continues.

it is recommended for most clients to receive a series of 4-6 treatments spaced about 3-4 weeks apart. For clients with deep wrinkles, stretch marks or ice pick acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 3-week intervals.
What is the E-Pen?
E-Pen is an advanced, medical-grade, automated microneedling device. Microneedling with the E-Pen creates superficial micro-channels which enhance the penetration of topical active ingredients. For instance, Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides or Collagen serum, can be used to hydrate and re-epithelialize the skin. Depending on what skin condition is being targeted, your medical aesthetician may also infuse anti-redness or anti-acne serums, lightening agents, and/or active growth factors to the needed depth.
The skin’s repair process in conjunction with the infused active ingredients result in improvement of the overall appearance of the skin: softer lines, fewer wrinkles and a smoother, more youthful and more luminous dermis.
